David Grimstone

David Grimstone's favorite subjects in school were history and English. He finally found a way to combine these two with Gladiator Boy, which Hodder UK first published in July 2009. When he's not creating the legends of his new series, he's visiting derelict castles and abandoned fortresses with his family. David lives in Kent, England.

James de la Rue earned a degree in illustration at UWE Bristol and since 2007 has illustrated books for the likes of Puffin, Hodder, Random House, Oxford University Press, A & C Black, HarperCollins and Walker Books. He lives in Nottinghamshire, England.
